The downstairs seamlessly flows between two cosy sitting rooms, a games and pool room, as well as a nursery room perfect for the kids. My stay at Sutton Hall was exceptional. The house and grounds are absolutely beautiful—spacious yet cosy, which made for the perfect getaway for our group of 10. Despite our group size, the house never felt cramped, and there was always plenty of room for everyone to relax.
Abbey was fantastic - her attention to detail throughout the property and the thoughtful little touches made our stay even more memorable.
The location is ideal, about a 35-minute drive from Norwich city centre and only 10 minutes from the beach which gives you the best of both worlds!
I also recently had the pleasure of using the new spa facilities. The treatment rooms felt truly luxurious and you could tell that every element, from the products to the ambiance, was chosen with care. The therapists were amazing and the hot stone massage was an absolute must—so relaxing! Would definitely go back.

The house itself is simply breathtaking. Every room is thoughtfully designed, blending historic charm with modern luxury. From the elegant drawing rooms and cosy lounges to the gorgeous bedrooms and stunning dining areas, every corner of Sutton Hall feels special. It’s the kind of place where you can truly relax, unwind, and enjoy the company of your group without feeling on top of each other. There’s a sense of warmth and comfort throughout, while still feeling incredibly luxurious.
We were a group of friends looking for a relaxing and indulgent weekend away, and this place was perfect. The kitchen is fully equipped for entertaining, but we decided to treat ourselves and had Norfolk Edge come and cater one of the nights. The food was phenomenal—each dish was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. It felt like a restaurant-quality experience in the comfort of our own private dining room. A total highlight of the trip!
Saturday was all about pampering—we all enjoyed spa treatments right there at the house, and they were absolutely incredible. The therapists were professional and lovely, and the treatments left us all feeling blissfully relaxed. It was such a treat to have that level of care and service without even having to leave the property.
What really sets Sutton Hall apart is the atmosphere—it strikes the perfect balance between feeling grand and homey. Whether you're curled up with a glass of wine on the sofa, exploring the grounds, or having a candlelit dinner with friends, it feels like your own little slice of paradise.
I honestly couldn’t recommend it enough for a group stay, celebration, or just a chance to recharge in a truly special setting. We’re already talking about booking our next trip. Sutton Hall stole our hearts!

Just got back from an unforgettable weekend at Sutton Hall celebrating a friend’s 30th—and honestly, it couldn’t have been better. The house is absolutely stunning—think grand country manor vibes with all the modern comforts. Every room felt like something out of a magazine, and the huge kitchen with the Aga quickly became the heart of the weekend (perfect for group breakfasts and late-night chats).
We made the most of the hot tub, got competitive in the games room, and even managed a few guilt-driven visits to the gym and sauna. The views are unreal, especially from the patio—having a morning coffee out there was a proper moment.
The place is tucked away in beautiful countryside but still close to the coast and the Broads for day trips. It really felt like we had our own private slice of Norfolk. The team behind it were lovely too—super helpful and made everything feel effortless.
Genuinely one of the best group stays I’ve ever had. Already thinking of excuses to go back!

I stayed at Sutton Hall as part of a group of 10. I couldn't get over the size of the building, the rooms, and all the amenities available. You would think such a large group in 1 house would feel cramped, but it felt very spacious. It also felt very high-end, yet equally homely.
The location is perfect - just a short drive from both towns and the coast. The large grounds are great for walks or even just relaxing.
Abbey was the most amazing, friendly and tentative host. Small finishing touches made us feel so special during our stay.
Honestly, none of us wanted to leave! We absolutely loved this space and would definitely stay again. I have recommended to all my friends and family I can't wait to be back! :)

Sutton Hall is a fantastic place to visit! My family and I spent NYE there and it was such a great venue for it! Felt instantly at home with the cozy atmosphere of this stunning property. From the grounds to the interior the property is bursting with character!
Abbey is an exceptional host. She went above and beyond to make our stay so very special. We were able to have caterers on site (by the way outstanding food!) also, wonderful beauty treatments.
Within driving distance there are beautiful coastal walks which were great for the dogs. Having a pet friendly home was essential for our stay and Sutton Hall and they are very accommodating with pets.
Will definitely be returning in the future!

We had an amazing stay! The property was spotless, modern, and incredibly spacious. It felt like a home away from home. The outdoor area was a fantastic bonus—great for relaxing or enjoying a meal outside.
The host was lovely and very responsive, always quick to answer our questions and provide recommendations. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. The Hot Tub was second to none. I booked the house for a girls weekend and was absolutely blown away by how beautiful it was, the pictures online look amazing but it's even better in real life. The location is perfect and close to many great pubs and activities.The house is ready and stocked with everything you need including many extras we weren't expecting. 100% recommend to anyone wanting a large house for a country side holiday
